Andrea Slingsby appointed alternate director at Michael Hill

Michael Hill has announced the appointment of Andrea Slingsby as an alternate director to Sir Michael Hill, effective immediately.

The appointment comes as Sir Michael takes a leave of absence to undergo treatment for cancer.

Slingsby brings with her extensive board governance, consulting, and advisory experience, particularly in the global retail sector.

She has previously held executive roles at Michael Hill, including interim chief people officer and chief operating officer.

Slingsby is currently a director of Prime Financial Group.

In addition to her role as alternate director, she has also entered into a consultancy agreement with the company.
