Andrew Murray appointed as Fonterra's CFO

Fonterra has announced the appointment of Andrew Murray as its permanent chief financial officer.

Murray, who joined the company in February 2023 as the commercial director for Fonterra's global markets business, will assume the CFO role on August 1 2024.

Fonterra chief executive, Miles Hurrell, expressed confidence in Murray's abilities, noting his experience as a senior finance leader and expertise in driving profitable growth and business transformation.

In addition, Hurrell thanked Simon Till for his interim role as CFO and revealed that Till would transition into a strategic advisor position with the cooperative on August 1 2024.
