Channel Infrastructure has announced the appointment of Angela Bull as a director, effective from October 24, 2024.

The company said the decision to strengthen the board's expertise in commercial land use development and infrastructure was driven by its strategy to pursue brownfield and repurposing infrastructure opportunities at Marsden Point, as well as the development of the Marsden Point Energy Precinct.

Bull, who has a background in large-scale commercial land use development, property, and infrastructure development, has previously held senior roles at Foodstuffs and served as the chief executive of Tramco Group.

She is currently a director of Fulton Hogan, Foodstuffs South Island, Bayleys Corporation, and listed property companies Property For Industry and Vital Healthcare Property Trust.

The board has determined that Bull will be an independent director for the purposes of NZX Listing Rules.

Channel Infrastructure also announced that director Vanessa Stoddart will retire from the board at the next annual shareholders' meeting in 2025.
