Appointment of new independent NED – David Wang

The a2 Milk Company (a2MC) has appointed David Wang as an independent non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 September 2022.

David has over 30 years' experience across industrial and consumer goods, specialising in manufacturing and supply chain and has held various senior executive roles in China, most recently as President of Asia Pacific for Buhler AG.

Chair of the Board David Hearn said that David's appointment will strengthen the Board's existing skills and experience, especially in the China market and consumer products manufacturing.

David is looking forward to utilising his experience to assist the Board in developing the Company's supply capability in New Zealand and China.

He will sit on both the Audit and Risk Management Committee and the People and Remuneration Committee.
