Being AI appoints three independent directors

Being AI has announced the appointment of three independent, non-executive directors - Michael Stiassny, Greg Cross, and Steve Phillips.

The new directors will hold office until the next annual meeting, where they will be eligible for re-election.

Their appointment comes as the company aims to bring an independent and unbiased perspective to the board, following the challenges it has faced since its listing on the NZX in early 2024.

Stiassny has been appointed as the chair of Being AI, while Cross will chair the remuneration committee and Phillips will chair the risk and audit committee.

The newly constituted board intends to conduct a strategic review and provide a market update in due course.
