Being AI director extends resignation date

Being AI has announced that independent director Brett O'Riley has agreed to extend the effective date of his resignation to Jan 31, 2025.

This extension will provide the company with additional time to appoint a replacement.

However, Being AI said that if a new independent director is not appointed by the deadline, it will no longer meet the requirement of having at least two independent directors, as per the NZX Listing Rules.

The company said it is currently in discussions with a potential candidate.
