Booster has announced a 3.2% decrease in the value of its Innovation Fund, following a strategic review by one of the businesses in its investment portfolio.

The company said the review was aimed at repositioning the business for growth.

Booster's manager, in line with the fund's valuation policy, determined that a decrease in valuation was warranted.

This decision was based on the slower-than-expected progress in securing growth capital and traction in key markets.

The adjustment will be reflected in the unit price of the fund, effective from August 18, with the new unit price set at $1.3567 per unit.

Booster said investors can still buy or sell units in the fund on the NZX, but they should consider the impact of this announcement when assessing a fair price for the transaction.
