Brent Scrimshaw named new CEO of KMD Brands

Brent Scrimshaw has been appointed new group chief executive of KMD Brands, succeeding Michael Daly, who has resigned.

Scrimshaw, who has been a director of KMD Brands since 2017 and the global chief executive of marketing services company Enero since 2020, brings extensive experience in the sports footwear and apparel industry.

He worked for Nike for 19 years, holding executive positions in Europe and the Middle East.

Daly, who served as the group chief executive since May 2021, was also a key figure in the Rip Curl business for more than 22 years.

Scrimshaw will continue as a director of KMD Brands but will no longer be considered an independent director.

His start date as group chief executive will depend on his release from his current role.
