Briscoe Group has reported a 2.07% increase in second-quarter sales, reaching $192.9 million.
However, group sales for the first half of the year were 0.22% lower than the same period last year, at $371.3m.
The homewares segment experienced a 3.97% increase in sales, while the sporting goods segment had a 1.34% decline.
Online sales continued to perform well, accounting for 19.36% of group sales, up from 18.77% last year.
The company expects its net profit after tax for the first half to be not less than $29m.
Briscoe Group will release its half-year results on September 10.
