Westpac has announced the appointment of Carolyn McCann as the new chief executive of its consumer division, effective immediately.
McCann, who has nearly 30 years of corporate experience, including 20 years in the banking and insurance industries, has been with Westpac for over a decade.
She previously served as the acting chief executive of the consumer division since May 2025 and was the group executive of customer and corporate services.
In her new role, McCann will lead a team of retail banking executives and oversee Westpac's operations in the consumer sector.
