CDL Investments has announced the appointment of Janie Elrick as an independent non-executive director, effective from November 1, 2024.

The company said Elrick's extensive finance and governance capabilities, as well as her background in diverse industries, would add value to CDL Investments as it continues to grow.

Elrick, who is a chartered accountant and a member of the NZ and Australia Institute of Chartered Accountants, has previously served as the chief financial officer of Downer NZ, Steel & Tube, Livestock Improvement Corporation, Synlait and Zespri.

She is a director of Crown Irrigation Investments, Inframax Construction and Community Living Trust.

CDL Investments is a majority-owned subsidiary of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand.
