Channel Infrastructure director Paul Zealand has announced his retirement from the board, effective at the next annual shareholders' meeting in May 2025.
Zealand, who has served on the board for nearly nine years, was appointed in August 2016.
He also served as the chair of the board's health, safety, environment, and operations committee and had a brief stint as managing director in 2020.
Following Zealand's retirement, the board size will be reduced to six members.
The company said this decision is part of a board refresh and succession process, aimed at establishing a smaller, more efficient board with a mix of skills and experience aligned with its new strategy.
Channel Infrastructure is an import terminal operator and is currently pursuing growth opportunities, including the development of the Marsden Point Energy Precinct.
