Chatham Rock Phosphate Limited has signed a lease with Aurizon to establish the Korella Phosphate Distribution Hub in Cloncurry, Queensland, Australia.
The Hub will allow Chatham to transport phosphate road-trained from its Korella North Mine to the Hub for handling and onward shipment by road-train for domestic sales and by rail for export through the Port of Townsville.
The Hub will also include a 2Mtpa bulk phosphate rail loading facility at Korella North and a 5Mtpa ship-loader in the Port of Townsville.
