Global dairy prices have continued to drop as increased supply outstripped demand.Last night’s fortnightly Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction was the fourth consecutive event where the average price dropped, down 4.1% to US$4274/MT.Whole Milk Powder (WMP) – which makes up half of the auction by volume and has the biggest impact on farmgate prices – fell 5.1% to US$3859/MT.WMP is now down 11% from its peak of US$4374/MT at the start of May.At last night’s auction, there was 25,705MT of product sold – 69% more tha...
