Agritech start-up Ruminant Biotech has closed a $17 million Series A investment round as it prepares to enter commercial production in 2026.The raise was co-led by New Zealand investment companies Rosrain Investments and Cultivate Ventures with “significant” investment from global financial services platform Marex.Rosrain shareholders include Seek chief executive Ian Narev, former Air NZ and Commonwealth Bank CEO Ralph Norris and Ross McEwan, the former CEO of the National Australia Bank.AgriZeroNZ has invested $5.8m in Ru...
