Chatham Rock Phosphate Limited (TSXV: NZP, NZX: Chatham) has transformed from a single project company to an expanding group of projects with prospects boosted by phosphate prices at 10-year highs.
These projects include the Makatea Project in French Polynesia, the fully permitted Korella phosphate mine in Queensland, Australia, and the application for an exploration permit over a substantial area adjacent to the Korella mine.
Last week the decision to take a further value-adding step to its phosphate production with planned manufacturing of Dicalcium Phosphate (DCP) was announced, with plans to generate operating income from phosphate trading, the DCP plant and Avenir Makatea by 2026.
The Company is looking to commence the payment of dividends and finance the reapplication for a Marine (environmental) Consent for the Chatham Rise project.
