Downer awarded 10-year City of Gold Coast contract

Downer EDI Limited today announced they had been awarded a 10-year contract to deliver asset lifecycle delivery services to the City of Gold Coast’s water and sewerage networks.

The contract, which is estimated to generate $250 million in revenue for Downer, will be delivered through a joint venture between Downer and Ventia and will provide vital water supply and sewerage services to the second largest Local Government Area in Australia.

Grant Fenn, Downer’s Chief Executive Officer, said the contract is reflective of Downer’s expertise in delivering complete water lifecycle solutions.
