Chorus has announced the appointment of Drew Davies as its new chief operating officer, effective from Oct 14.
Davies will be responsible for the company's financial functions, as well as strategy, brand and marketing, customer experience, and customer engagement.
He brings over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, having previously held executive roles at 2degrees, Trilogy Partners, and T-Mobile.
Davies also served as the chief financial officer of Rakon.
His appointment comes after the role was left vacant when Mark Aue became Chorus's chief executive officer in April.
