Fisher & Paykel Healthcare has announced its results for the first half of the 2024 financial year, reporting a 16% increase in total operating revenue to $803.7 million.

Net profit after tax for the first half was $107.3 million, a 12% increase.

The company's hospital product group saw revenue of $487.5 million, up 11% from the prior comparable period, while the homecare product group reported revenue of $314.4 million, a 26% increase.

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's gross margin also improved to 60.5%.

The company's directors have approved an interim dividend of 18 cents per ordinary share, up from 17.5 cents per share in the previous corresponding period.

Looking ahead, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare expects operating revenue for the full 2024 financial year to be approximately $1.7 billion, with net profit after tax in the range of $250 million to $260 million.
