Foley Wines has announced a 21% decrease in its 2024 harvest, compared to the previous year.

The company's harvest for the 2024 vintage totalled 6,404 tonnes, down from 8,137 tonnes.

The decrease in yield was attributed to disruptive weather and cooler spring growing conditions in Marlborough and Martinborough.

This, in turn, led to an earlier harvest than usual in Marlborough.

Despite the lower yields, Foley Wines' CEO, Mark Turnbull, expressed delight with the quality of the vintage and the winemakers' anticipation of producing world-class wines.
