General Capital, NZX-listed financial services group, has raised $2,000,000 from a wholesale investor with the issue of 34,782,609 ordinary shares at 5.75 cents per share.
The funds raised will be used to increase the capital of wholly owned subsidiary and licensed Non Bank Deposit Taker, General Finance Limited, for further growth.
The share issue was authorised by board of directors’ resolutions dated 22 February 2022 in accordance with shareholder resolution passed at the adjourned annual meeting on 3 September 2021.
