Genesis Energy's chief financial officer, James Spence, has resigned from the company due to family reasons and will be taking up a new role in Australia.
Spence, who joined Genesis in March 2022, will step down on May 24.
Genesis has already begun the recruitment process for a new CFO.
In a statement, chief executive Malcolm Johns expressed gratitude to Spence for his contribution and noted that he had played a role in the development of the company's Gen35 strategy.
