Green Cross Health, the primary healthcare provider behind Unichem, Life Pharmacy, and The Doctors, has reported a net profit of $5.6 million for the six months ended September 30, 2024.
This represents a 1% increase compared to the same period last year.
Operating revenue was $259.9m, up 4%, while operating profit (ebit) increased by 8% to $16.1m.
The pharmacy division had flat revenue of $182.2m, but operating profit increased by 3% to $8.9m.
In the medical division, operating revenue rose 13% to $77.7m, with operating profit up 12% to $8.2m.
The company declared an interim dividend of 2.5 cents per share, to be paid on December 18, 2024.
