Hamish Rumbold has been appointed as a director of Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC).

Rumbold, who brings expertise in data and IT solutions, will also serve on the audit, finance and risk committee.

His appointment is effective immediately.

Rumbold replaces Candace Kinser, who stepped down as an appointed director in September 2024.

Shareholders will have the opportunity to ratify Rumbold's appointment at the 2025 annual meeting.

The LIC board currently consists of six farmer-elected directors and three appointed directors.

LIC is a farmer-owned co-operative specialising in pasture-based dairy genetics and herd management.
