PGG Wrightson has reported improved results as the agricultural sector recovered from its slump.The NZX-listed rural services firm’s operating revenue lifted 6%, or $58.4 million, to $975.3m in the 12 months to June.It reported a net profit after tax of $10.7m, up $7.6m on the prior year.PGW’s operating earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (ebitda) grew 27%, or $12m, to $56.1m.That was ahead of market guidance issued in July to “around” $54m, up from previous guidance of $51m.'Boosted con...
