Kate Armstrong appointed director at Salt Funds

Kate Armstrong has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of Salt Funds Management and Salt Investment Funds, as well as the chair of Salt's compliance committees.

Armstrong, who has over 30 years of experience in financial services and governance, previously served on the boards of Vero Insurance New Zealand and Vero Liability Insurance and was a director of Asteron Life.

She is currently a trustee of the New Zealand Housing Trust and a board member of TSB Bank.

Armstrong will begin her new role in early February, succeeding Kirsty Campbell, who resigned in December 2024.
