Appointment of Kate Armstrong as Independent Director

Salt Funds Management is pleased to announce Kate Armstrong has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of Salt Funds Management and Salt Investment Funds Limited, and chair of Salt’s compliance committees.

Kate brings extensive experience in financial services. She joined the boards of Vero Insurance New Zealand and Vero Liability Insurance in May 2020 and has chaired the board audit and risk committee since August 2022. Previously, she was a director of Asteron Life until its sale by Suncorp Group in January 2025. Kate also serves on the board of TSB Bank and chairs the board risk committee.

Additionally, Kate has been a trustee of the New Zealand Housing Trust since December 2017, chairing its audit and risk committee for five years. She is a qualified lawyer with over 30 years of experience in financial services and governance.

Kate succeeds Kirsty Campbell, who resigned in December 2024.
