Kate Meldrum has been appointed as the chief operating officer for North America at Tourism Holdings.

The company said the newly created role would see Meldrum responsible for both the Canadian and US businesses.

Meldrum, who has been with Tourism Holdings for a long career, including stints as chief operating officer of the Australia business and chief people and capability officer for the group, is set to start in June 2024.

The appointment comes as Tourism Holdings continues to focus on synergy opportunities between Canada and the US, and the need to generate more revenue sources in the US.

Tourism Holdings is a global tourism operator and the largest commercial RV rental operator in the world.
