Kevin Taylor appointed Mercury's COO for generation

Mercury has announced the appointment of Kevin Taylor as its chief operating officer for generation, effective from April 8, 2025.

Taylor, who has over 34 years of experience in large industry, will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of Mercury's electricity generation assets.

Mercury's chief executive, Stew Hamilton, said Taylor's experience in operating complex assets would support the company's strategic goals of enhancing value and facilitating the low carbon transition.

Taylor's background includes leadership positions at Rio Tinto and Bell Bay Aluminium.
