Kingfish has reported a gross performance return of -0.2% for the June quarter, along with an adjusted net asset value return of -0.5%.
This is in comparison to the -3.2% return of the S&P/NZX50 gross index.
The company attributed the quarter's performance to the strong returns of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare (+19%) and Vista (+13%).
However, it was also affected by the decline of Delegat (-20%), Summerset (-17%), and Ryman (-22%).
Kingfish noted that the local economic environment in New Zealand has not yet improved.
