Lachie Johnstone appointed independent director at MOVE Logistics

Transport and logistics group, MOVE Logistics, has announced the appointment of Lachie Johnstone as an independent director.

Johnstone, who brings extensive experience in the sector, will join the board with immediate effect.

His appointment comes after the retirement of Danny Chan at MOVE's 2023 annual meeting.

Johnstone currently serves as the chair of CentrePort and Jenkins Group.

He was also the chair of Farmlands Co-operative Society for 16 years.

Johnstone's directorship will be valid until MOVE's 2024 annual meeting, where he will stand for election by shareholders.

The company's board has determined him to be an independent director under the NZX Listing Rules and the NZX Corporate Governance Code.
