Lisa Nelson appointed as Spark's independent director

Spark has appointed Lisa Nelson as an independent, non-executive director, effective May 8 2024.

Nelson, who is currently based in the United States, will also be a member of Spark's Audit and Risk Management Committee and the Human Resources and Compensation Committee.

She brings with her over 25 years of experience in the technology and financial services industries, including 15 years at Microsoft.

Nelson is currently a director on the boards of Destiny Tech100, Astra Space, Seattle Bank, and Banqer, as well as a strategic advisor to several other companies.

She will retire and offer herself for re-election at Spark's annual meeting of shareholders in November 2024.

The appointment comes as Spark's board continues to consider the relevant skills and experience needed to support the company's 3-year strategy.
