Mark Bregman named new chair of Rakon

Rakon has announced the appointment of Mark Bregman as its new chair.

Bregman, who has been an independent director since November 2024, will succeed Lorraine Witten, who plans to retire at the 2025 annual meeting.

Rakon said Bregman's selection followed a process that involved evaluating candidates and seeking feedback from key shareholding groups.

Bregman, a professional director with over 35 years of experience in the global tech industry, has held executive and board roles in companies such as IBM, Veritas, Symantec, NetApp, and ShoreTel.

He will be standing for election at Rakon's 2025 annual meeting.
