Mercury announces leadership changes for new objectives

Mercury chief executive Stew Hamilton has announced changes to the company's executive leadership team as it prepares to achieve its new three-year objectives.

The changes include the appointment of Matt Tolcher as executive general manager of generation development and Tim Thompson as executive general manager of wholesale.

Phil Gibson will transition into the newly created role of executive general manager of strategic affairs.

Lucie Drummond, the current executive general manager of sustainability, will step down in April 2025 but will continue to lead the sustainability business as chief sustainability officer.

The changes will take effect on November 11, 2024.
