Mercury has announced the appointment of Richard Hopkins as its new chief financial officer, effective from April 14, 2025.
Hopkins brings with him over 25 years of experience in the finance sector and primary industries, including more than a decade in CFO roles for major New Zealand companies.
He is currently the CFO of Zespri International and has previously held various roles at Ballance Agri-Nutrients.
Mercury said it will work through a handover process with the current CFO, William Meek, who will be leaving the company at the end of March.
