Metro Performance Glass has reported a disappointing financial performance for the 2025 financial year, with revenue of $213.9 million and a net loss of $13.5m.

The company's ebitda (pre-IFRS 16) was $5.6m, down from $12.3m in the previous year.

The company said the market weakness in both Australia and New Zealand had impacted its performance.

Metro Performance Glass said it achieved ebitda before significant items of $16.9m, which was within its guidance range.

The company said it expects the market in New Zealand to remain flat in the 2026 financial year, while it anticipates benefits from the delayed implementation of the Energy Efficiency section of the National Construction Code in Victoria, Australia, later in 2026.

Metro Performance Glass said it is actively pursuing an equity raise and remains committed to improving performance and restoring shareholder value.
