Mercury has announced the appointment of Michele Mauger as its new chief people officer.
Mauger, who has 35 years of experience in leading people teams, is set to join the company in the first quarter of 2026.
She is currently the chief people officer at Vocus in Melbourne and has previously held executive people leadership roles at Cleanaway, Incitec Pivot, Metro Trains Melbourne, Thiess, and Worley Parsons.
Mauger, originally from New Zealand, will be returning home for the role.
Mercury's current chief people officer, Fiona Smith, is stepping down, and a handover process will take place.
