Synlait Milk Limited (Synlait) has confirmed the appointment of John Penno as Chair and Grant Watson as CEO, with the support of Independent Director Paul McGilvary.
Both began in their respective new roles today, with Graeme Milne retiring as Chair after 17 years.
The company’s recovery plan to return Synlait to robust profitability remains on track.
Grant has extensive dairy sector experience from his previous roles as CEO of dairy company Miraka and COO of McDonalds New Zealand, while Paul is Deputy Chair of AsureQuality and Chair of BVAQ Australia and brings considerable dairy sector experience.
