New Talisman Gold Mines has provided an update on its progress towards production in the first quarter of 2025.

The company has received the first containers of its gravity processing plant from Canada and has begun the assembly process.

The plant, which is designed to process 100 tonnes of material per day, is a key component in bringing the Talisman mine into production.

New Talisman Gold Mines also announced that the Hauraki District Council has approved a revised Works Access Permit for the Talisman Mine access road.

This permit will allow the company to undertake minor roadworks, drainage maintenance, and necessary signage on the access road and surrounding areas.

The company will be represented at the launch event for the Minerals Strategy for New Zealand to 2040 and the Critical Minerals List on January 31.
