New Talisman Gold Mines has announced the commencement of testing for its newly installed processing plant, using ore samples from the Talisman project.
The company said samples of concentrate and tailings will be sent for laboratory assay to determine gold and silver grades and recovery.
The testing of the plant and analysis of assay results will be an ongoing process, with the aim of optimising plant operation and precious metals recoveries.
New Talisman Gold Mines intends to begin its bulk sampling programme of the Mystery vein North in May, with the processing site ready to stockpile ore.
