Financial services group, General Capital, has announced the appointment of Nick Pimenov as its new chief financial officer (CFO), subject to regulatory approval.

Pimenov, a chartered accountant with over 14 years of experience, will join the company on March 18 as CFO designate.

He will then assume the CFO role on April 1, 2024, following a handover from the current CFO, Victor Pliev, who will step down on March 31.

General Capital chair, Rewi Bugo, expressed the board's pleasure with the appointment, noting Pimenov's arrival comes at a time of significant growth and regulatory change for the group.
