Pacific Edge integrates Cxbladder tests into Kaiser Permanente

Cancer diagnostics company Pacific Edge has announced the integration of its Cxbladder tests into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system of Kaiser Permanente.

This integration allows urologists at Kaiser Permanente to electronically order Cxbladder Triage and Cxbladder Monitor tests for patients referred for hematuria evaluation and bladder cancer surveillance.

The results of these tests will be returned directly to a patient's EMR.

The integration is expected to improve patient access to Cxbladder tests and simplify test ordering and resulting for patient care.

Kaiser Permanente is the largest integrated healthcare provider in the US and the integration of Cxbladder into its clinical pathways could potentially save money and spare patients from invasive procedures.
