Rakon has announced the retirement of independent director Keith Watson and the appointment of Lisbeth Jacobs as an independent director, both effective from March 17, 2025.
Watson, who has been with the company since September 2018, will be stepping down under Rakon's rotation plan but extended his term to assist with board continuity.
Jacobs, the chief executive of Gallagher Animal Management, brings experience in the technology, engineering, and manufacturing sectors.
She is also an independent director of Goodnature and BRANZ.
Following these changes, Rakon's board will comprise five directors, with three being independent.
The company said it is in the process of appointing further directors.
