Restaurant Brands announces appointment of COO/ Acting CEO

Restaurant Brands New Zealand Limited (RBD) announce the appointment of Arif Khan as Global Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Julio Valdés as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Mr Khan will also serve as Acting Group CEO when Russel Creedy retires.

Mr Khan has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) sectors across New Zealand, Australia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Pakistan, Turkey, and North Africa.

Mr Valdés has more than 30 years’ experience in accounting, auditing, and taxes.

Their combined experience is expected to be a great asset for the company.
