Restaurant Brands achieved its long-standing goal of $1 billion in annual sales, despite the impact of COVID-19 in all markets, for the year ended 31 December 2021.
Total sales for the year were up 19.7% from 2020, with fourth quarter sales increasing 5.5%.
All regions had positive same store growth in the fourth quarter, despite the ongoing impact of COVID-19.
The New Zealand market saw total sales increase 12.4% for the year, with 9.1% same store growth, while Australia had a 13.6% increase in total sales and 1.4% same store growth.
Hawaii reported a 5.0% total sales increase and 9.1% same store growth, while California's sales were above expectations at acquisition.
Restaurant Brands will release its annual trading results for the year ended 31 December 2021 on 28 February 2022.
