Restaurant Brands New Zealand has reported a 2.3% increase in total group store sales, reaching $703.2 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025.
However, net profit after tax (NPAT) was down 5.6% to $11.9m, and group store ebitda decreased by 4.1% to $90.7m.
The company attributed the decline in NPAT and ebitda to increased labour, energy, and rental costs, as well as higher aggregator charges and slower macroeconomic improvement.
Restaurant Brands said the group remained focused on margin recovery, digital capability, operational efficiency, and targeted investment in store development.
As of June 30, 2025, the company had 522 store, including 380 owned and 142 franchised.
