The dispute between Fonterra Co-operative Group and Bega Cheese has been resolved, lifting the Mainland Group sale price to $4.22 billion.The co-op has had a long-term licence to the Bega brand for cheese and butter in Australia since the early 2000s, but it has been subject to a dispute throughout much of the divestment process.Fonterra went to court in Australia in an attempt to get it to rule that the divestment wouldn’t impact the agreement between the co-op and Bega.But the Supreme Court of New South Wales wouldn’t rule ei...
