Scott Technology (NZX:SCT) has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with JBS Canada to deliver a USD $35 million (NZD $56m) end-to-end material handling solution for their Brooks plant in Alberta.
The system, which is the largest of its kind in Scott’s history, will integrate existing technology from across the group, together with systems from its joint venture partner Savoye, and is expected to improve product handling efficiencies, reduce storage costs, errors, and deliver improved inventory turns.
