Seeka Limited, a New Zealand produce handler with operations in New Zealand and Australia, has reported their audited results for the year ended 31 December 2022.

Revenue increased 13% to $348 million, however, EBITDA decreased 19% to $46.1 million and net profit after tax dropped 56% to $6.5 million.

Factors contributing to the decrease include Covid-19, extreme labour shortages, shipping disruptions, lower kiwifruit yields and poor fruit quality.

The Board has determined that no dividend will be paid in light of the challenging environment.
