Serko has announced its plans to expand its business in North America, with a new total income aspiration of $250 million for the 2029-30 financial year.

The company has entered into a partnership with travel technology leader Sabre and will acquire Sabre's business travel management solution, GetThere, for $12 million.

This acquisition will make Serko the second-largest online booking tool provider in North America.

The partnership with Sabre also includes co-development and co-investment plans, as well as a revenue share agreement for new customer acquisitions.

Serko said it will accelerate its investment in product and technology to support its growth plans and develop an open platform with data and AI capabilities.

The company expects the acquisition of GetThere and the Sabre partnership to drive long-term revenue growth.
